Shanghai Juke Biotech Park is a professional biotech industry cluster co-founded by Shanghai Xuhui Municipal Government and Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences (China Academy of Sciences) in 2003. Juke bears the commitment of biotech industry incubation by innovation talents training and technology transfer. Taking the advantage of technology, market and capital integration, Juke endeavors to become a leading biotech industry cluster for R&D and innovative technology transfer in Shanghai.
Within the past ten years development, Juke has set up three incubator divisions and one manufacture base in Shanghai, which has 80,000 ㎡ industry space in total. Till May 2012, over 200 innovative biotech companies have settled down in Juke. These companies are being served with a dual service model created by Juke Park, a Relay-cultivation Model served with start-up nursery, incubator, accelerator and Industry Park, and the other Company Incubation Model served with tutor, professional incubator and venture capital, respectively.
During the 12th Five-Year Plan, Juke will dedicate itself to promoting the development of an innovative Biotech-industrial Cluster in Xuhui. Juke is exploring cooperation opportunities with other partners, focusing on the Yangtze River Delta Economic Circle.
